granada to velez malaga (torre del mar)

sunday: slept well after our walk around the alhambra, and not so cold last night either, there
was a bit more cloud up there!
we are leaving granada today, heading back to the coast to velez malaga/torre del mar, to a
campsite, about an hour and a half's drive away.
another lovely sunny day, and pretty warm too. we got packed up, paid up and off by 11am - not
great, but not too bad!
gorgeous drive back the way we'd come, through the woolley mountains, past all the olive and
almond groves, and then we left the snowy mountains behind us and before we knew it we were back
on the winding coast road.
we drove past some stunning scenery, and then arrived at the campsite laguna playa at torre del mar
(velez malaga). parked outside to check it out and found that the campsite is absolutely full to capacity,
but happily the very nice man at reception said we could stay for one night in the courtyard, with a couple
of other vans, who are either just staying one night, like us, or are waiting to enter the site when
someone leaves.
we bought needed bread from him for lunch, got the (free) wifi code and settled in for the day....its lovely
and peaceful in the courtyard (in fact much nicer than the main site), and its only a short walk to the town
and beach - the sun is out, and its lovely and warm, so its back to shorts and flip-flops too!
p working a bit later on but at mo its nice to just enjoy the sunshine, and warm up a bit after our two
chilly days in the mountains.
